work was slow and boring. i hate when we slow down in the winter.
It's sort of made to be simple just so I can get my arse to doing things. Some of you might have noticed that for the past two months Neskaya has been labeled as an attack site by Google. I tried some things to resolve it but they wouldn't unlabel me, and I was too busy to really do much about it. I finally have gotten that resolved, and unfortunately it involved deleting everything and uploading it again. All of the interactive aspects of Neskaya, as well as the tutorials, are gone for now. I will be bringing them back, though ^^ The forum users have been pruned back to 9/15 around when Google labeled it an attack site. The forums will go through major revamping in the near future, too. ^^
I have all the core content uploaded, and I have over 700 icons that I've made and have not uploaded because I had wanted to resolve the attack site status first. I'll give 'em to you guys in batches. So here we go, batch 1 is 110 cute girl icons.

( THE REST OF THEM )
Another update with more soon. :] I'm really sorry for ignoring everyone, but hopefully I'll be getting back on track. Please help spread the word that Neskaya is back!

I was in the mechanical engineering building working on homework on a dreary day. I went to the office to.. use the bathroom, roffle, but they were closing for lunch. I didn't feel like delaying them or anything, so I set off for the other bathroom. Instead of being about thirty feet down the hall as it normally is, it was out in another building a half mile's walk away. I was determined and really had to pee, so off I went.
This was the engineering research center, I suppose, but it was a gigantor pavillion with all kinds of stuff as on a warehouse floor. There was a team of people with leafblowers working who had the direct route to the bathroom roped off, so instead of taking the diagonal, I started my walk all the way around. I turned the corner, and realized there was a guy following me. As we walked, the warehouse evaporated, shrank back into the distance to become a tower, and we were surrounded by barely cleared forest on a hot summer day. I was barefoot and had to jump from one patch of cool grass to the next, rather than walk easily down the gravel road.
My companion kept stopping to inspect the top window in the tower. I could see a glinting flash coming from the window, but nothing else. He remarked that his brother was watching us, and wondered if he would agree to talk with him.
We made it to the gates before the tower and were repulsed, so headed back. Then started a great chain of adventures with incredible looking creatures, terrifying until I learned their purposes. One of the most fearsome was actually very gentle at heart, only strikingly loyal to the companion's mother, at the cost of killing any percieved the threat.
I can't remember much else sequentially, but there was a lovely scene set on a soybean field, full of moist patties. The agri students weren't coming through with their farming, and the blue creature and I frolicked through the standing water just after dusk. The sky was so purple and the ground so green, and the shadows so

How do children first come to grips with dreaming? 'This is real, but I have no evidence it actually happened.' Maybe that's why babies cry so mysteriously sometimes.

My metabolism is so weird to me anymore. I got barbecue earlier and didn't really get anything that seemed too big but I was stuffed before I could finish. And now it's like five hours later and I still feel stuffed. I've been doing a decent job of keeping off the weight I lost - about 7 pounds - but I'd like to keep shaving it down. I hate having a gut like I do. Tried P90x with Leo and that made me want to die so I don't think I'll do it. I've been telling myself to go jogging, just a few laps around the block, but I tend to forget until I'm in bed or at school. Portion control is pretty easy when you make your own food though so that helps. But chyeah if I'mma be competitive on the open market I want to be in better shape! For the lady(ies). Ladyies.
Living in the past with media is so great. I'm catching up on stuff that people were raving about a year or two ago on the super cheap and enjoying it just as much as I would've if I'd paid full price. I bought Dead Space on the PS3 for $20 and it's one of my favorites of this generation. It's just an amazing game. I got Assassin's Creed on the PC for $5 back last month and was pretty underwhelmed overall by it - great engine and mechanics, but poor narrative structure and flow. And last weekend I got Mass Effect for the PC for $10, so I'll prolly start working through that here shortly. I've also been catching up on some TV shows (mostly Dexter) on Netflix. I keeps it busy, yo.
Hoping to have some time to work on personal projects in the next week. I have a good bit of work taken care of on a script for a short film. Also wanna explore some more programming stuff I've done off-and-on all semester. Classes should be *knock on wood* fairly light from here to the next side of Thanksgiving break so I'd like to get some stuff moving.

My favorite etsy items. can you tell I'm on a skeleton key kick? one of my favorite things when I was little (prior to hating my mother) was this old skeleton key that belonged to my grandma and my mom used to tell me a story about it allll the time. don't know where the key is now. sad.
My favorites are probably:
this, this, this, this (cause it reminds me of return to oz), and of course, still in love with this.
i'm definitely saving money for disneyland though, so no etsy for a while.

So this guy comes over and there's all this talk about oral sex. I mean there was dirty texting and stuff. And yeah, all we do is talk. Nothing happens. He didn't make a move. To be fair, neither did I, but what I am supposed to do? Suddenly kiss him smack on lips? Grab his crotch? Eh? I am so indecisive. :S I was looking forward to it too. :/

i just want real friends.
i want to write in this journal and not feel like i have to censor myself.
i don't care if you comment. i don't CARE, i'm writing for me, and if you want to know what is up with me or how i am doing, then this would be the place to go.
i know i'm not the best friend/person/whatever.
but if you still wanna stick around, be my friend, be in my life, then comment i guess.
i want to update this more but i feel like
i don't know who cares about reading this.
so i would kind of like to know, i guess.
i wish i had an interesting story to tell you. but i don't.

This is an exaggeration but I am going to be wasting 5000$ on rent because I won't be living there any more. I can afford it but I'd rather save the the 170$ per month -- it will cover gas and food and still leave me money to save/pay off bills.
Extra 1700$ in spending money for the next 10 months and I get a tax break from paying rent for a place I don't live in...I'd rather have the 6700$ but unless I can get somebody to cover my rent there....FFUUU
Now to transfer my phone # and find out when my contract for internet/land line expires.
Fuck.

99% of the time, The Office (american version) is absolutely frakking hilarious.
The problem is, 1% of the time, it hits way too close to home. A sitcom shouldn't do that.

I feel like I should get a gun. I doubt anyone will rob me or try to murder me or something, but I still want one. Safety nets are yum. I am a very easy catch, you see. Too vulnerable, is what I'm saying. I mean, maybe I could take a girl the size of Marshall Banana, but that's up for debate. So I need a gun. Maybe a fireaxe. A bat minimum. All I have is a stapler. If anyone dangerous breaks into my apartment I will threaten them with my motherfucking stapler. OoOOoOoh, spooky.

Hey guys,
I checked memories, but just found an entry from a year and a half ago and thought I would see if anyone had anything more recent or any other recommendations.
Any good experiences with chiropractors in the area? It's for someone with major lower back pain, no experience with chiropractors and no insurance, so reasonable pricing would be good and personal experiences with good customer service would be nice.
Thanks for any help!

I checked Amazon and ereader and a couple of other miscellaneous sites for "Bullshit" and could not find even one how-to book. Lots of books on how to tell when you're being lied to or prevent others from lying to you, but not a single solitary book on how to manipulate, deceive, and otherwise bullshit other people and make them believe it.
So I did a "well-respected" Myers-Briggs test and came up with ISTJ. Under 'suggested career paths for your personality type', can you guess what the first result was?
It was fucking management.
I would rather join the gestapo than be a manager. Leadership is a shit job. My description of leadership would be "a job in which nothing you ever do is good enough and nothing you ever do is right, no matter what." It's also the kind of job where you have dozens of people randomly coming up to you with work, and where you always have at least 3 or 4 things on the go. Managers have to be able to manipulate people into doing what they want, which means they have to be either liked or feared. With my abysmal social skills and normally introverted personality, liked is right out of the question, and I'd need to gain at least 100 pounds and take up kickboxing to be feared. Furthermore, my sense of humor is at the core of my personality, and what I find funny often pisses people off. In a leadership position, I'd have HR breathing down my neck 100% of the time for the 2 weeks that it took them to find an excuse to fire me.
I am a geek. I do not multi-task well, not even well enough to drive. What I like about programming is that I can sit down at it and give it my undivided attention fulltime. I honestly can't think of a worse career for me than management.

So gay marriage is bye bye in Maine, it seems.
On the other hand, apparently something dubbed the "Everything But Marriage Law" was just put into action, which expands the rights of domestic partnerships to have all the rights of marriage except for the actual word marriage. lol
Although I think it's being fought against already, or something. I don't know, who can keep up with the frogshit anymore.
